Women of CBS

Brotherhood - Brotherhood is a diverse group of men that gets together/meets on varied days and different times each month. For information or to join, please email: Greg Balent at monkeyandwife@yahoo.com or call 813-681-6547.

Senior Youth Group (BETSY) - click here for the BETSY forum.

DayTimers - The Daytimers group of Congregation Beth Shalom currently has more than 35 members and meets once monthly during the day. Temple membership is NOT a requirement to join the Daytimers group.

Social Action Committee (SAC) - The mission of the Social Action Committee is to achieve the Jewish values of Gemilut Hasadim (acts of kindness), Tzedakah (charity), and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). The Committee is responsible for the organization and success of awareness-raising, educational, and volunteer programs and opportunities. Such programs and opportunities address issues including, but not limited to, poverty, social justice, and the environment.

Torah Tots - meets sunday mornings during the sunday school year.

Chavaruh - several different groups.

Friday night Shabbat Service 7:45pm (unless otherwise noted on the calendar)

Shabbat morning services for B'nei Mitzvah 10:00am

Religious School meets Sunday mornings at 9:30am (during the school year)

Hebrew Classes meet Wednesday evenings at 6:15pm (during the school year)

Fundraising

Congregational Funds
Please call the Temple at 681-6547 to contribute to any of the following funds:

Yahrzeit - to commemorate the anniversary of the death of a loved one.

Adopt-a-Book - Purchase of prayer books.

Rabbi Discretionary - A discretionary fund for assistance to needy families, scholarship assistance, broaden visibility in the Tampa area through Interfaith Council, Holocaust Museum, and other endeavors.

Bricklet Card - For as little as $9.00 you can send a Bricklet Card, instead of buying a card for birthdays, condolences, etc. A Bricklet card in your name will be sent to the person you wish stating that a donation towards our facility has been made in their name in honor of the occasion.

Tree of Life

Library Fund - This new fund has been created to build our congregational library. Help us by donating towards the purchase of a new book.

Congregation Beth Shalom's Endowment Fund - This fund has recently been set up in to ensure this synagogues' presence in the future.
